Coalition Mission

The Coalition brings together the provider community and Guilford County Residents to develop a partnership through advocacy, education, collaboration, and support of best practice principles to effectively address substance abuse.

Did you know?

  1. Current illicit drug users in Guilford County 12 and over: 1 in 17
  2. 7/06 to 7/07 there were 1,014drug arrests by Guilford County Sheriff's office: 269 were under 19
  3. 2005 to 2006 Alcohol related accident handled by Greensboro Police increased by 19.5%
  4. Nationwide, nearly 1 of 5 workers 18 to 25 used illicit drugs during the past month
  5. In N. C. 7.6% of clients in treatment facilities were under 18 as of 3/04
  6. Currently 236 validated gang members in approximately 14 gangs in Greensboro, a46% increase over last year.
